Bookkeeping Badge

A horizontal banner featuring purple tones with FSW initials on the left, a central circle showing icons of documents and currency symbol, and the word Bookkeeping displayed prominently in white text against a striped background. The design incorporates elements like checklists and paperclips to represent financial record-keeping activities.

The Bookkeeping badge recognizes knowledge in accounting principles, accounting for assets and sales transactions, liability and equity transactions, reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. A bookkeeper's job is to keep accurate accounting records, which supports a company's ability to manage cash flow, pay bills on time, and plan investments for the company to remain viable and thrive. Individuals holding this badge have demonstrated the skill and knowledge needed to complete the Bookkeeping industry certification successfully. FSW students completing this badge are eligible for a voucher funding the cost of their Bookkeeping industry certification.

How Do I Get Started?

Current students wishing to earn this badge need to enroll into ACG 2021, Financial Accounting to get started. Badge(s) are issued after course completion and submission of final grades.
